This is the bird I wanted to see more than any other. So after flying to Darwin, driving to Kununurra then flying to Mitchell Plateau and getting a helicopter to Mitchell Falls and hiking for an hour I finally got to see a group of 7 of these magnificent birds! I was overcome with heat stress, dehydrated and very unwell on the way back to Kununurra but is was worth it!!
